Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Arenaton 9lives application and related services (the "Service") provided by Trebuchet Dynamics Limited ("we", "our", "us"), registered in England and Wales (71-75 Shelton Street, London WC2H 9JQ).
By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction).
- You are solely responsible for determining whether your use complies with applicable laws in your jurisdiction.
- The Service is not available to persons subject to sanctions or in jurisdictions where prediction market participation is prohibited.
2. Nature of the Service
- The Service provides a self-custodial interface to on-chain prediction markets on the 9lives protocol (Superposition, an Arbitrum L3 network).
- We do not operate, control, or manage the underlying smart contracts, blockchain network, or market outcomes.
- The Service is a software tool that facilitates your direct interaction with decentralized protocols. We are not a counterparty to any trade.
- Nothing in the Service constitutes legal, tax, financial, or investment advice.
3. Self-Custody and Security
Important: Arenaton 9lives is self-custodial. You are the sole custodian of your private keys and recovery phrase. We cannot access, recover, reset, or freeze your wallet. If you lose your recovery phrase, your funds are permanently inaccessible.
- You are responsible for safeguarding your wallet, private keys, recovery phrase, PIN, and device security.
- Any transaction signed by your wallet is treated as authorized by you.
- We cannot recover lost keys, reverse transactions, or restore wallet access.
- Store your recovery phrase securely offline. Never share it with anyone.
4. Blockchain and Market Risks
By using the Service, you acknowledge and accept:
- Irreversibility: Blockchain transactions are final once confirmed and generally cannot be reversed or refunded.
- Market volatility: Prediction market positions and digital assets can fluctuate significantly. You may lose all funds committed to a position.
- Smart contract risk: The 9lives protocol may contain bugs or vulnerabilities. Interaction is at your own risk.
- Network risk: Blockchain congestion, downtime, or forks may affect transactions.
- Bridge risk: Cross-chain operations (via Relay) involve additional smart contract and liquidity risks.
- Regulatory risk: Laws governing blockchain and prediction markets may change and affect availability.
5. Fees and Taxes
- You are responsible for all network gas fees associated with your transactions.
- The 9lives protocol may charge protocol-level fees determined by on-chain smart contracts.
- Third-party services (Onramp.money, Relay, external wallets) may apply their own fees.
- You are solely responsible for determining, calculating, reporting, and paying any applicable taxes.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or deceptive purpose.
- Exploit vulnerabilities in the Service, the 9lives protocol, or connected smart contracts.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any protected component.
- Use bots, scripts, or automation to manipulate markets or gain unfair advantage.
- Impersonate any person or entity.
- Infringe intellectual property or privacy rights of others.
- Facilitate money laundering, terrorist financing, or sanctions evasion.
7. User Content
- You are responsible for content you submit (campaign text, comments, images).
- You confirm you have rights to content you upload.
- You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display submitted content as needed to operate the Service.
8. Third-Party Services
The Service integrates with third-party providers. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms:

- Relay by Reservoir: Privacy
We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, or policies of third-party providers.
9. Intellectual Property
- All Service software, branding, and non-user content are owned by Trebuchet Dynamics Limited or its licensors.
- "9lives", "Arenaton", and associated logos are trademarks of Trebuchet Dynamics Limited.
- You may not copy, redistribute, or create derivative works except as permitted by applicable law.
10. Availability and Updates
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.
- We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time.
11. Suspension and Termination
We may restrict access for security, legal compliance, or abuse prevention.
Because the Service is self-custodial, suspension does not affect your underlying blockchain assets. You can always interact with 9lives smart contracts directly or via other interfaces.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Trebuchet Dynamics Limited and its affiliates shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, data, or digital assets arising from your use of the Service.
Total aggregate liability shall not exceed the greater of (a) fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) US $100.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury from negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Trebuchet Dynamics Limited against claims, losses, and expenses arising from:
- Your use of the Service.
- Your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
- Your infringement of any third-party right.
15. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except where prohibited by consumer protection law in your jurisdiction.
16. Severability
If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force.
17. Entire Agreement
These Terms and the Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and Trebuchet Dynamics Limited regarding the Service.
18. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms. Updated versions will be posted here with a new date. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
